Lockie Ferguson, a Kiwi pacer, delivered the fastest delivery in the IPL 2022 and earned the season’s fastest ball title. He selected the grandest stage to do it, bowling it in the IPL final against the Rajasthan Royals. Jos Buttler was on the receiving end. Ferguson bowled at 157.3 km/h, outperforming Umran Malik’s 157 km/h ball and winning the honor.

 

3. Umran Malik – 157 km/hr

Umran Malik bowled the third-fastest delivery in the IPL 2022, after two balls at roughly 155 km/h earlier in the tournament. He bowled it to Rovman Powell during the game between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals. Umran recorded a speed of 157 km/h, which remains an Indian record in the cash-rich competition.

 

4. Anrich Nortje – 156.22 km/hr

Anrich Nortje was unstoppable throughout the IPL 2020. He was quick and precise, taking 22 wickets in 16 games for the Delhi Capitals. 5. Umran Malik – 156 km/hr

Umran Malik bowled a thunderbolt at 154.8 km/hr against the Delhi Capitals during the IPL 2022. He increased his pace and bowled at 156 km/h, becoming the fifth fastest delivery in IPL history.

 

6. Anrich Nortje – 155.1 km/hr

Anrich Nortje is back on this list. Nortje broke his own record of 154.8 km/h during the IPL 2020. While playing for Delhi Capitals, he bowled a delivery at a speed of 155.1 km/h in the same game against the Rajasthan Royals, where he was the previous fastest bowler. This was the 6th fastest IPL delivery.

 

7. Umran Malik – 154.8 km/hr

Umran Malik is the quickest Indian pacer to have competed in the IPL. He captured the world’s attention by bowling quickly and accurately, and the IPL 2022 was a watershed moment in his career. He also made his debut for India as a result of his accomplishment. In a match against the Delhi Capitals, he bowled a ball at 154.8 km/h to make it into this list.

 

8. Anrich Nortje – 154.7 km/hr

10. Kagiso Rabada – 154.23 km/hr

Kagiso Rabada is one of the top modern-day pacers on the planet right now. Because of his speed and precision, the South African has achieved success at the international level as well as in the IPL. He bowled his quickest IPL ball for DC during the 2020 season. Rabada bowled at 154.23 kph.
