Bharadwaj Sai Sudharsan is an Indian cricketer who plays for Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket and for Gujarat Titans in the IPL. Born on October 15, 2001, Sudharsan’s father was an athlete and his mother was a state level volleyball player. In the 2019/20 Raja of Palayampatti Shield, he was the leading run-scorer with 635 runs at an average of 52.92. In February 2022, he was bought by the Gujarat Titans in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament.
Sai Sudharsan made his IPL debut in April 2022 after Vijay Shankar was ruled out due to an injury. In the 2023 season of the IPL, he scored 362 runs averaging 51.71, including 96 in the IPL final against Chennai Super Kings. In August 2023, he signed for Surrey for the final three matches of the 2023 County Championship.

Sai Sudharsan Family
Sudharsan’s mother and father both have a background in sports. His father, R. Bharadwaj, competed in the South Asian (SAF) Games, while his mother, Usha Bharadwaj, played volleyball at the national level for the Tamil Nadu squad.

Sudharsan was called up to the India A team for the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup on July 4, 2023. Sudharsan was designated a standby player for India’s squad in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou on July 14, 2023. On July 19, 2023, in an Emerging Asia Cup encounter against Pakistan, A Sudharsan scored 104* off 110 balls to lead India A to a crushing win.
