Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma, born on September 4, 2000, plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League(IPL) and represents Punjab in domestic cricket. Abhishek Sharma Domestic Career
At the 2018 Indian Premier League auction in January, the Delhi Daredevils paid Rs 5.5 million to acquire him. In his Twenty20 league debut on May 12, 2018, he scored 46 runs off of just 19 balls while playing for the Delhi Daredevils in the 2018 Indian Premier League.
He set a new record for quickest century by an Indian in List-A cricket on February 28, 2021, while playing for Punjab against Madhya Pradesh. It took him 42 balls. The Sunrisers Hyderabad of the 2022 Indian Premier League competition acquired him at the auction that took place in February of that year.
He scored 426 runs in 14 games for the Indian Premier League in 2022. On March 27, 2024, in Uppal’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, he broke the record for the quickest fifty struck by Sunrisers Hyderabad in an Indian Premier League match against Mumbai Indians.
