India vs Sri Lanka ODI, T20I Squads Complete List Of Players Retained, Dropped And Called Up

Under head coach Gautam Gambhir, India’s visit to Sri Lanka for a white-ball assignment really signifies the start of a new chapter. Suryakumar Yadav has been promoted as the T20I side captain, picked over Hardik Pandya, who seemed more like a logical successor to Rohit Sharma. Some audacious choices were made even on the ODI squad, whether it was Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav, or even Ravindra Jadeja out. Observing Harshit Rana and Riyan Parag create the rosters is a choice not well-considered by everyone either.

We examine the whole list of changes done in India’s T20I and ODI lineup for the Sri Lanka series as the Gautam Gambhir era starts in Indian cricket.

India ODI Squad For Sri Lanka Series:

Rishabh Pant also returned to the 50-over side for the first occasion since November 2022. Khaleel Ahmed, a left-arm pacer, and Shivam Dube, an all-rounder, may participate in their first ODI match for India since 2019.
