The second season of the WPL 2024 will take place from February 23 to March 17. The women’s T20 cricket event will take place in Bengaluru and Delhi, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said on Tuesday.
Mumbai Indians won the first season of the World Premier League. The WPL 2023 was held in Mumbai, and five teams competed against one another. Following the success of the first season of the WPL, BCCI prepared for another season and recently made many announcements about it.
Like previous year, five teams will compete in the WPL 2024. The Gujarat Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and UP Warriorz will compete with the Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. All matches till March 4 will be held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The tournament’s remaining matches will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
There will be a total of 22 matches, including the elimination and final. The team at the top of the points table advances directly to the final. The opponents will be determined via an eliminator match between the second and third-placed clubs on the standings.

WPL 2024 Start Date
The 2024 WPL season will begin on February 23, with the final planned for March 17 in New Delhi. The Women’s Premier League will have 22 matches this year. The final will be contested on March 17 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. All bouts will commence at 7:30 p.m. The eliminator will be played on March 15.

The first 11 matches of the WPL 2024 will be hosted in Bengaluru, while the last nine league games and two playoff matches will be played in the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
