His father, Naushad Khan, is a renowned coach and former first-class cricketer who has trained some players, including Iqbal Abdullah, Kamran Khan, and Sufiyan Sheikh. Musheer’s elder brother, Sarfaraz Khan, is also a talented batsman who has represented India in two U-19 World Cups (in 2014 and 2016) and played for several IPL teams. Another brother of his, Moin Khan, is also a cricketer who represents Mumbai.

India comfortably defeated Ireland by 201 runs in the ICC U-19 World Cup on Thursday. Musheer Khan played a crucial role in India’s victory by scoring a magnificent century. He scored 118 runs off 106 balls, which included nine fours and four sixes. India, after batting first, scored an impressive total of 301 runs for the loss of seven wickets.
Musheer’s brilliant knock proved to be too much for Ireland to handle, and India qualified for the Super Six phase of the tournament. Interestingly, Musheer’s elder brother Sarfaraz also had a great day on the same day, scoring 161 runs in an unofficial Test match against the England Lions in Ahmedabad.
